The CFA (Centre de Formation d'Apprentis) at Reims Management School (RMS) was founded in July 1997 with authorisation of the
Champagne-Ardenne region. It is fully integrated by RMS and under
control of the Reims & Epernay Chamber of Commerce.
2nd position in France in terms of apprenticeship offers (management schools category)
With a capacity of 350 student-apprentices for two years of course, the
CFA has trained since its creation 750 students in more than 300
companies.
CFA is accessible to Sup de Co Reims students admitted in higher
management education (2nd and 3rd year), and prepares to the Ecole
Supérieure de Commerce degree.
Applying students can search for a mission from the beginning of the
year by contacting companies which already have an apprentice or which
have sent offers to our school. They can also apply by themselves in
companies.
A long-term job offer at the end of apprenticeship
This prgramme allows student-apprentices to follow their education path
on accounting, yet acquiring at the same time more knowledge within the
company. Students have responsibilities in positions like cost-control,
audit and accounting analysis, merchandising and marketing, trades,
logistics.
During their mission, student-apprentices are taught by a
apprenticeship mentor in the company, and an academic coordinator, RMS
member.
66 % of the companies then offer a long-term job contract to the apprentice once they finish their curriculum.
A team dedicated to companies and students
The CFA team is in charge of reinforcing contacts with the companies
for adjunct members, administration formalities, contacts with
institutions and organisation of the missions.
Every year, whatever the economic situation, this educative programme
confirms its efficiency for professional insertion of our students.
