The apprenticeship contract
is a 26 month temporary
work contract during which
apprentices alternate periods
of academic work with periods
of work placement in a company

For the student:
- A real life genuine professional experience
- Tuition fees are paid for during the student's specialization period (Year 2&3)
- A remuneration which often higher than the legal minimum
- Increased credibility after graduation
- In many cases a job offer in the host company
For the firm:
- An employee trained in the company's culture and methods
- Participation in training a junior executive
- Gaining time in terms of recruiting future executives
- Apprentice status: both a student and a salaried worker in his own right
The students who choose the apprenticeship pathway become salaried workers in the firm: They sign a 26 month temporary contract. They spend 60% of their time in the firm and 40% at school. In the end they have the same academic competencies as the other students but with the professional experience in addition!
